Hi, I want to downgrade my notebook to Windows XP. Will I find all the drivers for it? Will it be fast on Windows XP? Please tell me, or must I just leave it?
After downgrading to XP the Smoothness will come up, but be sure that you will have a Vista Basic OS on you, why? because you will experience Lan - Driver problems like mine. :D but anyway if you really want to then you can try..
Yes you will get all the drivers here http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_4315.html However only Vista Premium and Vista Ultimate users can perform a direct downgrade. You can start a fresh installation from a bootable disk of WinXP. Be aware that this will replace the Vista with XP.

As of the moment there is no driver support for the Acer Aspire 4315. If you have already installed Windows 7 and you can connect to a cable internet through your Ethernet Port, you can try downloading and install Driver Genius Professional which can assist you in getting the compatible driver. Since this software can detect even unknown devices.
Are you downgrading from Vista to XP? Chances are, if you have Vista and want to roll back to XP, you should be able to find the necessary drivers. You can go to Microsoft's website to check compatibility with your drivers.
go here and scroll down until you see the realtek audio driver then download it. Then run the driver (install file) on your laptop and you should have your sound back.
I am assuming that you downgraded to Windows XP. For the WinXP sound driver of
a Realtek Audio as used in an Acer Aspire 4315, pls try (ftp://202.65.194.212/pc/audio/WDM_A405.exe). Should you still want the Vista driver, pls download from here.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should
you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
