Temporary Fix
This always works in case you need your printer for Emergency ^_^.

Turn off the printer
And unplug the printer power cable
Press and Hold the POWER button
Plug the power cable again
The indicator (LED) should be green
Press and Release the RESUME button, the indicator (L.E.D.) should be orange
Press and Release the RESUME button again, the indicator (L.E.D.) should be green
Release POWER button
Windows will detect new printer and you just have to install it again.
It will create a copy of Canon i320 printer. Just delete the old one and rename the copy.
You are done.

The waste ink absorber is full

To reset your Canon IP1000 just simply pull out power cord then press-hold power button, while holding power button insert back power cord. You will notice that the power button indicator lights up upon inserting power cord. then you may release power button and start printer. That will solve your "The waste ink absorber is full" message.

Downside is: you may have to do this frequently if your printer looses power. You will understand what i mean.
