I have a Sony KP-53HS10 projection TV. It this evening, when I turned it on, it was flashing a "2" code (two flashes, pause, 2 flashes, pause, etc.). I tried the power button, which changed nothing. I pulled the power plug, and after plugging it back in, it's just flashing continuously. Any ideas?

http://www.fixya.com/support/t1692655-sony_kp_53hs10

I had to replace the flyback transformer and the HV Transistor on the D board, cost $38usd total and good as new.

Sony kp-51ws520 when turned on just has standby light flashing . the rest is all dead, no picture or voice.

Standby flashing light shows that tv got some internal problem. How many times standby light is flashing is info that provide info about what section of tv got problem.
Count standby light blinks and let me know, there would be 3 seconds long pause in blinks so count pause to pause.

My sony kp53hs10,the standby light blinks ,with no picture.

I've got exactly the same problem. Initially, I saw it flashing twice, pause, twice, pause, twice... I pulled the plug when it failed to respond at all. And then when I plugged it back in, it went into the continuous flashing mode. Halp!

Green flashes then tv turns off

or a new lamp. you could first replace the lamp.
the screen might work fine for a couple of seconds, but then it fades away or deteriorates. This means the lamp is going bad.

Sony KP-51WS500 will not turn on

I believe the problem is either in the G board ( power supply) or the D Board ( high voltage) as the 3 blinks indicate the G board, and 7 indicates the D board and 6 indicates the +5 line a and b boards. So with that many codes its most likely the G board (power supply) You can get a new replacement G board at the following link which comes with free tech support to help you plug the baord in which is very easy. Its listed under the Sony parts category and its the A-1316-566-A sony G board, Here is the link.
