Warming brandy helps to release many aromas from the
beverage. I have been a bartender for
many years now and find that many people prefer their brandy served warm. There are several techniques to warming
brandy. Some people prefer to hold their
hands around the glass for a while to warm the brandy, while others use

Cognac is a superior type of brandy created from white
grapes (Ugni Blanc) produced strictly in a region of Western France.
Grapes are harvested in late September and are pressed and
fermented, then double distilled. By
law, the distillation process must end by midnight on March 31 the following
year. After which, the distilled liquid is
blended, aged and bottled.
