Your phone either has a short or your charger is no good. Go to ebay.com find the battery (could be the battery as well) and charger for your phone; if it is not worth it to you than buy a new one. GL
The only way I know of to have a phone unlocked is to either obtain the password from the original user, or have it re-flashed by the provider. If the phone can be re-flashed, the password can be set once again.

Get a new battery. what happens if that does not work ? u have to get a whole new phone.... mine is the same way it's the charger peice it won't charge no more, you can switch batterys but cant charge any.
Dial 111111 (6 ones) then instead of hitting send choose options. Under options you will see the option to erase messages. Be careful because it does not discriminate and will erase all messages.
