If the tub is full of water you need to empty it. A shop vac with the paper filter removed works good. The drain hose is naturally squishy. Likely there is an object like a sock covering the drain hole in the outer tub. If it's jambed tight enough the back pressure from the pump would collapse the hose. If you remove the hose with water in the tub you will make a huge mess when you remove the sock.
Can't really say more because the mod # you provided isn't correct. Not sure what's wrong, i've tried several combinations but no luck. Perhaps you could recheck it. Make sure it's the model number from the machine.

SOURCE: Whirlpool won't spin at high speed

Sounds like you may have lost your basket drive and clutch assembly. This is a pretty involved job to replace for sure, and requires you to remove the inner basket, drop the transmission, etc. Does the unit make any wierd noises, like popping or grinding? Does it agitate ok in wash? I would bet almost for sure that its that basket drive and attached sub-pack thats went bad. If you want to try and tackle this yourself, let me know, and will get you directions to do so. Good Luck!!!!

Removed the drain pump and the motor itself. Then I removed the old coupling and placed the new one. The washer is working like new...

My washing machine wont drain fully _ Help

Looks like the drainline is partly clogged.Hence it is not able to complete the drain cycle before the timer kicks in. Maybe that a sock or other piece of clothing get between the clothes tub and the outer tub that holds the water. In this case it may then get into the drain hose that's attached to the pump.Remove the hoses from the pump and pull the item out. In case it clean there, check the outer tub port- open the washer's main access panel and remove the large-diameter rubber hose that connects the pump to the bottom of the outer tub. Then, try to remove the clothing through the port.

My washer will not fill during the cycle for high agitation

You may have a siphoning problem. Double check your drain hose and make sure it's not shoved down in the standpipe too far. The standpipe is the drain line at the wall. If your drain hose is placed too deep into the standpipe, or if you have the top of the standpipe sealed off, the washer will begin to fill and continue to drain at the same time. The symptom will appear as if the washer is constantly filling. You need to leave an air gap opening around the rim of the standpipe, and the drain hose should only be placed about 4 to 6 inches into the drain line. I hope this helps you. Post back if this is not the problem you are experiencing and I will try to provide you with a better solution. Let me know if you have any questions.

Water flowing back into washer after wash

There is a back flow valve attached to the outlet port of the drain pump. It is just a small rubber flap. This sometimes comes loose or remains open due to debris and allows the water in the drain hose to flow back into the machine after the drain pump shuts off. It can be checked by removing the drain hose from the pump inside of the machine. You will lose all of the water in your machine (about 1/2 gallon)when you do this so be prepared with a bunch of towels.
