Disk full how do i delete

First delete the temporary files.
On unix you can use rm command in folder "/tmp" or "/var/tmp".
On windows, open Internet Explorer and go to menu Tools-->Internet Options and in "General" tab under "Browsing History" block delete the temporary files. This will give you some breathing space to work with other applications. Then open a file manager like "Windows Explorer" (for unix you can find similar applications). Look for the files which you don't need anymore and delete them. You can even move some of the big files onto your external drive connected to the system via usb cable.

Hope this helps.

The logic card of my TallyGenicom 6312L line printer has been repaired. it is not working on Unix OS but working in Windows envirinment. what is the solution?

The solution depends very much on the cause of the problem. I note that you can print from Windows, this indicates the intrface you are using is functioning correctly and it should therefor be possible to print from Unix to the same interface if it is connected to the Unix system. If the printer is connected via a network interface, check the IP address on the printer to ensure it matches the IP address set up for the Unix print queue. Try pinging the printer from Unix. Ensure the EMULATION setting on the printer matches the Device Type selected on Unix. You may need to identify if any data is being sent for Unix perhaps try sending a test text file to the printer. A common cause for printers not printing from Unix is no Carriage Returns or Line Feed commands in the data. Try setting Auto CR to ON in the printer, of this does not work try setting Auto LF to on. If there is still a problem please post the connection method and also any errors or symptoms seen when printing from Unix

There is an error in connect...........

If the error in connecting to the internet or to a LAN is prevalent with all network adapters, reset the TCP/IP Protocol stack byrunning the following command from the command prompt window:
1. Go to start menu and click on run.
2.Type in cmd.exe and press enter.
3.In the command prompt window, type in the command:
netsh int ip reset C:\connlogreset.log

The command will reset the TCP/IP protocol stack to it's defaults, and the reset data will be logged in the text document connlogreset.log.

If the above fails, disable any protocols that are not needed in the connection, e.g. SLIP(Serial Line Internet Protocol for Linux) as it's only used to connect to Linux servers in a LAN.
If using a broadband modem, disable NDIS driver wrapper from the GSM broadband client software provided with the modem, and update the software if possible.

What are the differences between windows vista and unix

Hi,

Hmmm... This is a BIG question, and it has a HUGE answer.
Have you ever seen Unix and Vista? I think you would immediately see the difference between the two.
1. Vista has a Graphic User interface, Unix is a command line interface.
2. Totally different systems (Filesystem, application, Kernel... whatever)
3. Age - Unix is ooold, and Vista is new (Unix dates back from the 1980's)

Well i can go on like this for days ...Google it more.

Difference between windows platform ,unix and linux

To make a long answer short, Unix, Linux, and Windows are different operating systems. Each allow command-line commands and point-and-click operations. Unix workstations are used for running engineering software, programming, networking, web browsing, and electronic mail. Linux computers come with productivity tools and CSS is adding engineering software packages as they become available. Windows computers are used for productivity tools (word processing, database, etc.)
