Hi my name is Leonardo Oliveira, I recently purchased a TK 1550 casio eletronic cash register. I programed the PLU's and and Flat-plu's but I can't figure out how to get the register to accept open sales. If I enter an amount and press any botton only a beep comes up. I own a small deli and we sale salads and cold cut by the pound. So sometimes I need to enter differents amounts but no matter what bottons I press I can't enter other prices besides PLU and Flat PLU. I programed the tax and everything else. I looked over the manual for open sale or miscellanous sales but didn't find anything. Please help. Thank you for your time.

I am not 100% on the TK 6000 but on the TK2300 you turn the key to PGM press 3 subtotal, 1166 subtotal, XX00 (xx being department number) press all of the PLU's you wish to change and press subtotal to finish.
The TK-T200 comes with 30 Flat PLU buttons. These can be set to open price if you want to use them as departments.
To remove the fixed price,
Turn key to program mode
0
now press the PLU button you want to change
SUBTOTAL
Now you will need to enter a price (no decimal point) each time you use it in REG mode.
If this is not suitable, please let me know more information about your needs.

Hi. This is the only thing I haven't managed to do with them. I've tried many methods and consulted other techs, but it seems they are very separate memory areas. You will probably just have to program the product into the scanning PLU file as well. If I find a way, I'll try to post it for you.
Turn key to program mode. 3 SUBTOTAL 1166 SUBTOTAL Now type the PLU number and press the 'PLU' button (eg 1 PLU for the first plu) Now type the dept number to link to. Use two digits eg 01 Now press 00 (double zero) CASH SUBTOTAL
To set a dept name:
Turn key to program. 2 SUBTOTAL Type dept no in 2 digits eg 01 Type 05 SUBTOTAL Type new dept name using character sheet 00 (double zero) CASH SUBTOTAL
That should do it. Let me know if you have problems.
You can add a Hand held Scannerbar with your Casio Tk -7000 Hand held bar code scanner(HHS-15) *
Essential functions for the scanning environment such as Not Found PLU(NFP),PLU batch maintenance file, bottle link and Mix & Match functions are available on the TK-7000 model.
You can attach a Voyager Scanner with your TK-7000 model.
How to add in Casio Cash Register: 1. connection to cash register - unscrew and screw back in. 2. connection to scanner, unplug using paper clip into hole and push back in again. 3. rescan default sheet given whe nyou purchased the machine. 4. clean head of scanner. 5. check for cracks on scanner, ie. loss of vacuum.
