Do you know if the recall on the rotor for these is honored in the US? My serial number is in the recall, but I can only find how to get them replaced in Astralia and New Zealand.

Question edited for a lot more clarity. Please don't use abbreviations, I am the only person that knows what 'F&P' is.
Question moved from Firearm Optics to maker category.
The only people that would know is the maker. If I were guessing from the serial number 12 of 2006, 6th month of 2012, or 6 December 2019. Email them.
There is a label on the main housing above the bottom drawer location. This gives the model number and serial number. You can call the local support centre for Fisher and Paykel and ask the date of manufacture using the serial number.
The Serial number starts with three upper case letters then has half a dozen digits. This is normally also labelled as "SERIAL" or "SERIAL NO" on the serial number plate (sometimes called the rating plate)
Without the model its hard to really give a detailed answer but I can tell you this. Fisher Paykel dishwashers if I recall dont actually have drain pumps. They have what they call motor rotors. I personally own a set of dish drawers from the them and to remove the motor rotors what you want to do is kill the power to the machine first, then remove the rack from the drawer. there in the center or near there you'll see the motor rotor held in with a locking ring. Just twist the ring to take it off then pull the motor rotor right out. This will take no more than five minutes max once you have the part. You'll need the model number and I believe the website is call coolblueworld.com
