While I do not have specific knowledge of your camera the DVD door should have a small hole in which you insert a small object - a paper clip works, and push gently. This is the norm on CD/DVD drives and releases an internal catch. Good luck.

SOURCE: my sony dcr-dvd105 handycam camcorder all of a sudden shows only

There is 2 possibilities, either aperture of camera jammed and doesn't open or CCD Imager got defective in your Sony DCR-DVD105 camcorder.
Let me know if you have little experience of camera repair to guide you further.

Import your videos from the "finalised" mini disks into Windows Movie Maker on your PC and then export all the content to a DVD on your PC.
Alternatively a disk copy facility such as "Nero" can be used.

SOURCE: SONY HANDYCAM DCR-DVD105 ERROR MSG C:13:02

Try to use a cotton swap to 1st clean the recording lens or blow gently on it. Place an empty disc in, format the disc, record a little scene. Turn off camcorder. Place the error disc in the camcorder, turn on the camcorder all the way to play/edit. If this doesn't work turn it to record and try to record. Worked for some of my error disc

SOURCE: My Sony HandyCam dcr-dvd105 suddenly started shutting itself off

No problems, at last Sony have listened to camera users and heard that the models that use DVD are no good, so Sony along with most others have dropped the DVD models, they simply never were reliable enough.
Grab a Digital 8 tape camera from Sony if you feel you prefer no hasstle in movie making, most already have.

How to connect a macbook pro and a handycam DCR-DVD105.

If your cam has a firewire connection, you could plug it into the macbook and use iMovie to transfer the videos over. You can also get an external DVD drive to put those tiny DVDs into to transfer it over.

Can I send data from the Handycam DCR-DVD105 to my macbookpro???

Hi!
Unfortunately, your camera does not have a USB jack, and does not have any way to transfer digital data from the disc to your Macbook.
I'd suggest loading your disc to a computer with a non-slot loading dvd drive, download your footage there, and either burning the data to a regular-sized dvd or putting the data in a flash drive to transfer it to you Macbook.
Hope this helps!
