Bea, try this. UNPLUG the refrigerator for 12 hours and keep the fridge and freezer doors open. You might lose some food. NOW you will find some water under the fridge. clean that and now power up the fridge. Make sure you hear the motor working. Your fridge will start cooling. Keep at recommended temp.

seeing that 32 is freezing point of water,its not suprising that food is freezing.it should be 38f or +3c.when was the last time you did a FULL defrost(NO HAIRDRYERS PLEASE).ALSO CHECK DOOR SEALS ARE TIGHT ALL ROUND.

i have the same problem i clean the coils and work for two weeks and now is freezing need solution thanks

I'd check the temp control and up the temp abit instead maybe you have it all the way down low at the lowest setting, that will cause the contents to freeze.

Hi, Change the controls back to normal settings. Make sure the freezer is getting 0 to 5 above. If the freezer is getting cold enough, try and turn the cold control to 1 and see if the refrigerator shuts off. It sounds like the cold control in not working properly and will need to be replaced. NOTE: The freezer temp has to be right temp or the fresh food side will not work proper.

Check the air dampers at the bottom of the fresh food section.They may have been moved to a open position. If so close them up some.
Otherwise the cold control thermostat may need to be replaced.

fresh food thermister should be checked. also the damper assembly that regulates cold air from freezer to fresh food side.
