Hello, I have a question about the HP 1312 all in one printer. Does it print on legal size paper and where do I load the legal size?

Yes, it can print on legal size paper. Do the following:
Lower the paper tray, and if necessary, slide the paper-width guide to the outermost position.
Fold out the paper-tray extender to catch paper as it exits the device.
Tip: For best results when loading legal-size paper, fold in the paper-tray extender before loading the paper to avoid a paper jam.

How do i load paper?

A4, Letter, or legal-size paper can be loaded. The minimum size that can be loaded into the ADF is 3x5 in. When you load small paper sizes, place your original in the center of the tray and adjust the paper guides to the edges of the paper. When making copies, sending faxes or scanning, load your original document into the feeder, face down.

Loading your paper
Paper loading tips:
● Load paper with the side to be printed facing down.
● You can print photos and documents on a wide variety of paper sizes, from
8 x 13 cm (3 x 5 inch) up to 22 x 61 cm (8.5 x 24 inch). The 10 x 15 cm
(4 x 6 inch) photo paper is available with and without tabs.
● Before loading paper, pull the Main paper tray out (use the Main tray release or
the tray grips) and slide out the paper-width and paper-length guides to make
room for the paper. After loading paper, adjust the guides to fit close to the edges
of the paper without bending the paper. When finished loading paper, push the
Main tray back in all the way.
● Load only one type and size of paper at a time in the same tray.
● After loading paper, extend the Output tray extension to catch your printed pages.
Use the directions in the following table to load the most commonly used paper sizes

The printer keeps saying that the paper isn't loaded, and it's not catching the paper to send it through. How do I get it to grab the paper, and why is it saying there's no paper loaded?

Hi

Please check for a lever on the area where paper goes out? most all in one printer from epson has this lever where you can toggle to grab paper or envelope.

Hope this helps

Brother MFC-8840d ADF feed problem

Hi, the left hinge is spring loaded to keep the lid open. This applies a lot of pressure on the pivot point of the hinge (steel pin/plastic hinge) that elongates the plastic holes and raises the lid from the scanner. As the paper leaves the scan window, a ramp next to the scan window sends the paper up to the tray, just past that ramp under the lid is a lip that guides the paper to the tray. With the hinge stretched, the lip is too high and catches the end of the paper at the rear only, and jams the paper. If you press on the cover (with the new hinge) and it does not catch then you have installed a bad hinge. Also ensure that the top part of the hinge is on the guide pins under the cover.

C 4180 photo smart printer, not loading 4x6 photo paper

You could try stacking more paper behind it, thereby creating more pressure on the paper feed.

Paper feed not working

remove the paper from the machine and look where it feeds in. There should be some rubber rollers, try cleaning them with a rag and some rubbing alcohol. If this doesn't work let me know. Also fan the paper before loading it. John
