Follow the link below and download the driver that says executable file. This should fix your problem. Sorry about before i thought we were after the device drivers. Guess i should have taken a little more time reading

try putting the disk in the drive and close the autorun application. Then in the device manager right click on the device and search for new drivers. Then when you can specify directory select your cd rom drive

You will need to reload the drivers for your audio device. Where you saw the exclamation mark, if you right click, properties, you should see a tab for reinstall drivers. This should take care of your problem. (As a back-up, if the reinstall does not work, check the Acer support page, and download the drivers for your model notebook.) Good luck.

Acer Extensa 4620 - OS : Windows XP. I tried but it shows "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver."
But on clicking Reinstall Driver nothing happens.
In Device Manager -> Sound Video and Game controllers -> Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus .The Exclamation mark is found here only.In Device Status : The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver." is found. what to do
no ... i cant hear still
s I have a disk with this Laptop
Do you have any disks that came with the computer?
I need the name of the device. If you have windows search for the drivers it will almost never work. That is one of those useless apps that is included in windows. I need the name of the device itself though. As info2u stated yes you could go to the support page if it was working.
When you are in the device manager right click on the device like you did before and let us know what the name is
The exclamation mark means you need to update the drivers. i need to know what operating system you are running.
And we need to know the device name. normally you can go to the manufacturers website and download drivers. But of course this page is down at the acer site. Go figure huh?
i have installed windows 7 32bit on my acer travelmate 4222, the audio speaker sign on the bottom right has X on it - No audio output device installed.I checked the Device Manager and there are 3 marked Unknown Devise on High Definition Audio Bus. i can,t play any audio music or video at all.
