SOURCE: magicolor 2400w won't feed paper
Hi and welcome to FixYa,
Offhand, your described problem indicates a possible mechanical issue. In most printers, there would be a rubber wheel (or half a wheel in some) that grabs the end of the paper to provide the initial push through the paper path/rollers. If the unit has been in use for some time, it may be then wear & tear, the rubber has considerably worn out that it no longer provides sufficient grip. Alternately, it may be that this grab/rubber wheel just needs a bit of cleaning.
Pls post back results of cleaning. Good luck and thank you for using FixYa.

It`s possible you`re using too heavy paper, same problem´s with thin sheet´s?
SOURCE: magicolor 2400w gives paper jam error at transfer
My 2400W was standing a long time without being used, and when I wanted to use it, it made a very faint image and showed "paper jam at transfer roller". Also, the image stayed on the transfer belt, but never got transferred to the paper. I tried a lot of things, nothing worked, but the message from weirdal1968 above pointed me in the right direction.
I eventually scratched / scrubbed / cleaned the copper pad on the left side of the optical imaging drum - this copper pad probably receives the bias voltage for the imaging drum from a springy stainless steel wire. There was some visible darkening of the copper pad where the stainless steel wire touched, this is what I cleaned. And then, presto, problem solved - the image came out great, and no more "paper jam at transfer roller" error message.
