Internal Memory problems

I'm having problems with the phones internal memory. All my contacts that were stored on the phone's memory mysteriously disappeared. What also disappeared was all my text messages. I noticed that there were times where i selected a contact and I would receive a notification stating that the contact does not exist??! I'm also experiencing problems with sending and receiving sms'.

Hi,. it seems your phone has some prob with the internal functionality and memory, for which there's no optional setting. the only thing u need to do is just to walk in to an authorized motorola service center along with your warranty card and hope for the best. (in such situations, master reset should be done to your phone and only authorized centers can do that), regards, sheldon

Why dont i have much memory ?

Brian I am guessing you added extra sd memory to your mystery phone model. Somewhere in the settings will be a memory storage setting . This has to default store memory to external memory rather than internal memory.

To increase the phone memory, Move or delete data/files which is stored in phone(images,message =especially received from blue-tooth,musics,contacts.. etc )not in mass memory.This is the only thing you need to do.Good luck

How to restore my full nokia 5130c-2 30mb internal memory?

Hi,
To solve this problem, follow step
1-download this original backup 2-store the backup file in memory card using Nokia Pc suite after connecting your phone by usb cable.
3-Select Menu > Settings > Sync and backup and then Restore backup
4-Select the backup file already stored on the memory card and restore it to the phone.
Hope problem is solved.

My cell stuck when i order music player or something more like applications or when i browse internet in its browser, means, with out using another browser application

It is a Software problem of your Mobile it is the common problem for Nokia 5200 all mobiles better you should change your mobile. For better function shift to Nokia Symbian 3Version series.

I bought a memory card but if I format it it says I will loose all data. Does that mean all my contacts, texes, photos and videos etc

yes you will lose all data.But now it all depends as if you have all these data stored on the memory card then you will lose them.But if instead it is stored on the phone's internal memory then a format of the memory card will not change any of the phone's data,provided you are formatting the memory card and not the phone's internal storage...Hope this helps.

Hello Sir, This is a problem caused when the memory is full of files. First check that are the files stored in the Ext. Memory or in the Internal. Omnia has 16GB Int. Memory, so I expect that you have stored the files in the External Memory. Try to view that memory status of the phone and check how much space is available. If none, that's the problem. If I assume you have 2GB Ext. Memory, then it is full. To free some memory, move the existing files to phone's Internal memory. Then some space will be free for you to store more files. If you don't want to move, try to change the default storage option of the files to " Phone ". This will make the phone store all future files into the Internal Memory.

I can't download a ringtone. I says I don't have enough file space.

ringtones are stored to the phones internal memory not the memory card. check to make sure that your phone is set to save music, pictures, and video to the memory card, not the internal memory. then move any of those file types that are in the internal memory to the card. if you still don't have enough file space you will have to delete something to make room

Phone book memory

The vast majority of cell phones not only have internal memory but external as well allowing you to add an additional 1-4 gb's of space.
That will allow you to hold alot more than 3000 contacts.

When looking for your phone just make sure you check the specs, it will specify if you can add additional memory or not (most do) This way you won't be limited to a phone just because of internal memory space. You can pick one you like, as well as fit your needs.

Micro card

When I bought the phone I wanted to use a bigger Memory card. I was told it will only recognize 2gb. The booklet that comes with phone says the same thing, so would assume that is why it says full. Assuming of course youre trying to use more than 2gb at the moment.
