SOURCE: Complaint

It seems to be either part of a Virus, or a system bug, Make sure you have an up-to-date Antivirus, if you do, it might also be several component isues, check the device manager to see if any of your components have any errors. Or the best resolution to your problem would be to get the restore CD that comes with the PC and restore it back to its original manufacturer's defaults, if you don't have it you may also find it through hp.com's support site.

Shivering screen

Shaking or trembling of a computer screen is often caused by interference from another device that is within a couple feet.
It can also be caused by another monitor close by.
If the removal of these objects does not stop the trembling, the monitor may have built up magnetism and need to be degaussed.
Find the menu button for your monitor.
This is usually on the front of the monitor.
It is sometimes on the side of the monitor.
Push the menu button. Scroll down until you find the screen option.
Select "Screen."
Scroll down to the degauss option.
Select "Degauss."
Select "OK."
The screen will make a tuning sound, as if you hit a guitar string.
The screen will shake and vibrate.
The shaking should now be gone.
If it is not, it will need to be looked at by a professional.

Crt screen shivering with some noise inside

From the description the high voltage inside the set is arcing that would explain the shivering in the picture and the noise you are hearing, the monitor is on the verge of failure and should not be left unattended while it is running.

My monitor is shivering due to magnetic field tell me solution

Solution for many "jittery" or "shaky" or "shivering" monitor problems...

Be sure there are no power AC cords in direct contact with or very close to the monitor cable anywhere along its entire length. If no help, be sure the monitor and monitor cable are not very close to a wall that may have an AC power lines running in it. Also, be sure that you are using a "grounded" (3 prong) power cord, that is is not plugged into a "2 prong" adapter that eliminates the ground ("earth") prong, and be sure that your power circuit that you are plugged in to is properly grounded.

Syncmaster 245B Monitor Shivering horizontal lines

Which type of video connector are you using? VGA or DVI?

If you are using VGA, the horizontal line could be due to interference, like from an electric motor (fan) near the video cable.

Other thing to try is to change the refresh rate. In Windows XP: Control panel --> Display Properties --> Settings tab --> Advanced button --> Monitor tab --> Screen refresh rate. The default ot 60Hz for LCD monitors. Bump it up to 75Hz. That could give a clue to the problem or maybe even fix it.
