Liquors are any non-brewed alcohol such as vodka, gin and tequila. Spirits are specific liquors that have flavors such as Sambucca (anise flavor).

Are all types of gin the same?

- Distilled gin- made by redistilling alcohol from its agriculturual origin, during which juniper berries are infused
- london dry gin- uses a higher quality base alcohol than regular distilled gin. no colorings or flavoring agents are infused during any part of the process except during redistillation
- juniper flavored spirits- this type of liquor is pot-distilled and exhibits a higher taste of grain. the alcholo content leel is generally lower in this particular style of gin
