Chardonnay wines are one of the most widely manufactured varieties of white wines. They are typically dry, full-bodied and are often matured in oak. The aroma of a Chardonnay is generally fruity with flavors of apples, if produced in cooler climates, to more tropical fruits, when made in warmer regions.

What is Ice wine?

Ice wines are manufactured in cold climates, most often Germany or parts of Canada. To make an ice wine, grapes are left on the vine until they start to become raisins and then freeze. Timing of harvest (in relation to climate) is very crucial in the process of making ice wines. Temperatures of -7C or below are needed to produce a good quality ice wine. The combination of the overripe grapes with the concentration leftover from removing excess water from frozen grapes results in a sweet tasting wine.

What is the best way to store already opened wine to ensure it stays fresh?

In order to prevent oxygen from tampering with the quality of the wine you will need to find a way to seal the hole. The most efficient way that most people use for around the home is through the use of a rubber wine stopper and pump. This should give your wine an extra 2-3 days.

Here is a great quality pump and rubber stopper -

How do you use a breville wc15xl wine chiller

HOW TO USE

First you place the Wine Cooler on a flat, dry surface, making sure that the timer is in the "off" position.

Remove the chill cells from the freezer and place around the inside of the cooler.

Thirdly, place the bottle inside the cooler and then pour cold tap water inside, until it just covers the top of the chill cells.

You can then plug the unit in, or if it has batteries you don't need to.

Finally, you set the control dial to the desired time. The following are recommendations for different types of beverages:

Sparkling Wine, Champagne and Dessert Wine.....9 minutes

Dry Wines, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling.....6 minutes

Chardonnay, Rose'....5 minutes

Light Red Wines, Pinot Noir....3.8 minutes

Full Bodied Reds, Shiraz, Grenache, Cab Sauvignon, Merlot....3 minutes

If you choose to chill a beverage without the timer, you just turn the control to the left and when you are done you turn it to the off position.

In addition to wine, the cooler can also chill beer and soft drinks. The only limitation is that the bottle diameter can be no more than 3.75 inches.

Should you wish to chill two or more consecutive bottles, the cells will remain cold enough for you to to do so.

While not in use, the cooler can also be used on the table with ice to keep your beverages cold (much like a regular ice bucket).

The power cord is removable, which makes for an easy clean-up.

The unit comes with a manufacturer's One-Year Limited Warranty.
