Spray painting is a painting technique where a device sprays a coating through the air onto a surface. The most common types employ compressed gas to atomize and direct the paint particles.

Can I use spray paint in my back yard?

Sure, why not?. I've sprayed kitchen cabinets in my driveway, dining room chairs (metal, with auto paint) on my patio, wood paneling and more.
I would suggest using drop cloths or plastic to cover whatever you're not spraying, as spray will spread, especially if you use a water-based paint.

In trying to spray oil base paint, I get very low fluid flow (if any) from the cup to the gun. I've cleaned the gun and insured the hoses weren't clogged. Changing the adjustment valves...

How does it spray if you dump the paint out and put paint thinner in the cup? If it sprays paint thinnner, but not the paint, your paint is too thick. Thin it down by 25% and try a little. Keep adding thinner until the paint sprays out of the gun in an acceptable manner. Your gun probably has a 1.1,or 1.4 fluid tip. this is for spraying lacquers or automotive paints that are very thin. to spray oil based paint, your would need a 2.0 or 2.5 or bigger. not really what this gun was made to spray.

How could i put a glitters with my wall at my facebook

  • SPRAY CLEAR GLITTER ON DRY WALLS -- Go to your local craft store and pick up a couple cans of spray glitter. You want a clear base so you can keep your current wall color. Look for a spray that says something like clear glitter finish or clear glitter sealer. Then just spray your walls with the clear glitter spray.

  • PAINT YOUR WALLS WITH GLITTER SPRAY PAINT -- If you want to change the color of your walls you can spray paint them with colored glitter spray paint so you get the painting and glitter done in one easy step. However, spray paint can be expensive and you may find it is difficult to get a nice even coat of paint. So this method would be good for a small room or an accent wall.

  • PAINT YOUR WALLS THEN ADD GLITTER -- This is the cheapest way to get the glittery look you want. Buy your wall paint in the color of your choice. Then buy tubes of glitter in the craft section. As you paint your walls, do one small section at a time. Then pour out a bit of glitter on a paper plate and gently blow on the glitter so it blows onto the freshly painted wall. The glitter will stick to the wet paint. Then move on to the next section and do the same thing! If you are applying two coats of paint to your walls add the glitter to the second coat.

Porter cable spray painter PSH1 it says what you can spray with it and I want to spray water base paint can I do it with this painter it is new and I didn't relize it was onl for laciur paint thank you...

Be sure to filter the paint you are trying to use so that you aren't dealing with large lumps of paint. You will need to experiment with hose pressure to get proper spray quality, and set the mixture control for a fairly fine mist as the paint is likely to be more fluid. Fan control is set so that you don't get an unpainted space in the middle of the paint swath. Make sure to wash the gun thoroughly after painting. If you are doing a lot of painting, expect some nozzle wear over time as the water base paint is somewhat gritty. Don't forget to trigger 'off' before the end of each stroke and trigger 'on' after starting the return stroke to keep running at a minimum. Good luck!

    Spraying troubles

Off hand I would say that you have the wrong spray tip for the paint that you are spraying or that the tip is worn. Another thing that it could be is the little piece of rubber behind the tip is worn or missing. My first suggestion is check the tip size with the recomendations of the paint that you are spraying (You will find this on any specification sheet from the paint manufacturer.. If the size is correct replace the tip. A new gasket comes with a new tip. Hope this helps.
