What kind of driver? What operating system are you using?

Moreover, what kind of problem are you having now that require driver for the hard drive?

Note: Normally we do not need driver for hard drive, unless you are creating custom system/machine, not a normal PC.

Problem in hard disk

hi Kumar, you may not have noticed it in the past, but most drives aren't 100% the capacity that is shown on the box.

There are two reasons for this:
System Overhead use and the way Microsoft counts a MegaByte (1,024,000 bytes) versus how the manufacturers count a MegaByte (1,000,000 bytes).

Hope this helps.

I have the following questions to evaluate the problem.
1) What's the port your harddrive supported? Is it standart IDE cable or SATA.

I have a hardrive utility software that can detect and access any type of harddrive but you need install it at running windows.

Please email [email protected] and dont forget to used the subject "Driver Problem" if sound interesting for you.

Hrad Disk Crash

i dont think theres any way to repair it with that fault except sending it back to toshiba, if you ask them they can retieve the data but they charge you. i have done that before for customers. If its the board on the hard drive you could try and get the same model off ebay cheap and replace it but with the motor you would have to send it back to toshiba All the best John
