Bamboo tablet pen: dropped! Now only eraser works

I dropped my pen from my Wacom Bamboo Fun Tablet, now, only the eraser works. The tablet does not pick up the pen tip being there, but it does with the eraser. I can't buy another tablet! (I can't afford one)
How can I fix this problem? If you know a solution, please e-mail me: [email protected]

I did the same thing. My pen suffered a drop, and now the pen end doesn't work.

I'm trying to find a fix, but right now it just looks like I'll have to get a new pen.
Don't fret though! You can buy pens separately, so you won't have to buy a whole new tablet! Prices for a Bamboo fun pen are $25-35 depending on where you live in the world.

Fujitsu Siemens Stylistic ST4120 Tablet PC pen not working with screen

I just fixed this problem on the 4120 for a friend, What I did was first to install the drivers from the Fujitsu site so XP was displaying all drivers as installed in Device manager.

Then I ran windows update to patch it up to date and then I downloaded the drivers from the wacom site.

http://www.wacom.com/en/support/drivers

Then choose tablet pc from the first drop down and then os (xp in my case) from the second drop down.
Reboot
Pen working!

In device manager click on Mice and other poiting devices
Select the touchscreen with left click and click the unistall option.

My slate vision tablet pc is having some problems. The screen is not reacting when the pen touches the screen. I went into the control panel seems that everything set up correctly. Could it be the pen that...

Your tablet pc uses the Wacom Digitizer so the pen does not use a battery. It is possible that it could be the pen or the screen. It works with electromagnetic resonance technology and the screen produces this signal that the pen grabs, converts, and returns to the screen without batteries. The pen does contain compenents that can fail but so does the screen. You could try buying a replacement pen for around $20 dollars and see if that works. Worst case you would be out $20. If you had another tablet PC that uses a Wacom screen you could try the pen with that one or test the other pen with yours.

My Wacom Bamboo Tablet Pen: only the pen was dropped. Now the eraser works but the pen tip does not. Neither do the buttons. The tablet itself does not pick up the pen tip's presence, but it works perfect...

Try replacing the pen nib. Take out the little nib with a tweezer or something along those lines and replace it with a new one. There should be a few of them when you bought the tablet. Also, try looking at the tablet properties.

Will a Bamboo Pen work on a Toshiba tablet pc M200

^The question is NOT asking about a USB thumb drive, and a lot of people seem to have failed to understand this.

Screen rotates, pen doesn't

Is it maybe possible it is a hardware prob? maybe the directional sensor in the tablet was displadced.

BTW i have the same tablet and need an harddrive replacement/upgrade, how did you manage to do that? what kind of drive and where to buy? Viewsonic seems not so eager to help me out with that.

Best,
