No Power only the turn/on light plinks

I have 42" Plazma Panasonic that has a slot for memoary digital cards. I have inserted the card while my camcorder playing some vedeo on the screen, the TV went dead. I have only the power switch light plinking and no power. There is a clicking sound in the back once you attempt to turn the power on but noting happend just dead.
Please tell me what do you think is the problem. This is only one year old HD palzma. I am thinking of like a protection feature like a chip/ fuse that shots off to protect expensive compenents.

Thanks
Khalid

Remove ALL cables and memory cards from the TV , including the power cable in the back, then plug just the power back in and try turning on your tv.

Canon EOS rebel T1i says no card

There are a few possibilities, A the pins where the card inserts into the camera are damaged, or you have 2 dud cards borrow another you know works. And also insert the card that does not work and connect camera to computer and see if it connects. If nothing works its back to Mrs Canon for repairs.

I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX50 Digital Camera that all of a sudden says memory card not inserted when it actually is. I've tried formatting the card on my pc and still nothing. I cant use the camera...

Hello Optimus,

From the descriptions you said, it is unlikely that it is the card that is malfunctioning. It is probably the card slot inside your camera. Make sure that your card is inserted firmly. Also, check the inside of the card slot if it has bent / broken connectors. It might need servicing / replacing.

How to remove memory card from camera

Confirm the power-on lamp and the monitor are off and open the battery-chamber/ memory card slot cover. Be sure to turn off the camera before opening the battery-chamber/memory card slot cover.
Removing Memory Cards 1 Before removing memory cards, turn the camera off and confirm that the power-on lamp and monitor are off. 2 Open the battery-chamber/memory card slot cover and press the card in to partially eject the card. 3 The card can then be removed by hand. Do not attempt to remove the card at an angle.
Insert the memory card.
4 Slide the memory card in correctly until it clicks into place. 5 Close the battery-chamber/memory card slot cover.

PANASONIC 42" PLAZMA ModelTH-42PX77U Set runs for

I hate to say it but these Panasonic plasmas are known for power supply issues. If you google the model # looking for power supply price you will have a pretty good guess at repair cost. Usually around 175-245 us dollars at reasonably priced repair shop. Good luck, Russmann.

My Lumix DMC ZS7 reads "insert sd card again" when I have a full sd card inserted. The sd card is "verbatim sdhc 4gb" any idea? Thanks in advance

SD and SDHC cards fit the same slots, but they are slightly different electrically. Many cameras won't work with SDHC (high capacity) cards. SDHC is not backwards compatible.

If your manual doesn't specifically mention SDHC cards or memory card size bigger than 2GB, then the camera almost certainly won't work with SDHC. My Lumix won't work with anything larger than 1GB SD.

The camera works fine without a card in, but when the memory card is put in it doesnt. i changed the card and no difference. PLEEASE HELP

The cause and solution may include one of the following:
  1. The card may not be certified SD. Please purchase a certified SD memory card. For example: Sandisk, Toshiba, Panasonic, etc.
  2. The card may be corrupt. Reformat the memory card.
CAUTION: Formatting deletes all pictures and videos, including those that are protected. Removing a card during formatting may damage the card.
  3. The card is not fully inserted in the camera. Turn off the camera, insert a card into the slot, then push to seat it.

Need assistance installing an RF Tuner module (IMP-1200) into a Panasonic TH-42PD50U Display. I understand that there is some configuration needed. Please help !

Unplug power to the monitor before you attempt to install the tuner module and the Imp-1200 must be physically installed in slots 2 and 3 on the monitor.
Once card is installed, power on the monitor and enter the setup menu. highlight the OSD option then press and hold the surround button on the remote. This will enter a set of new options go to the digital slot option on page 3 and select slot 2. You should be done.
