Baumatic BHD5 works then buttons start flashing and it beeps and stops working

The dishwasher stop after about 5 minutes, it flashes saying control error or something, it beeps and wont continue to do anything. Apparently i might need a new pcb/control circuit board but buying one direct from baumatic costs £200 and what if this isnt the actual problem? do you have any advice? thanks

From your description it appears to be detecting a no heat fault, check heater, however not filling to the correct level, overfilling or underfilling will give the same error code. Regards Advisor

Before buying a new control unit, try to unplug the machine for few hours and plug it back in. It might reset the control panel and solve your problem. Good luck!

Flashing lights and or beep sounds can mean the dishwasher problem was from a power surge or power outage. You can unplug the dishwasher from power or shut off the breaker to the dishwasher for 1 minute. This may reset the dishwasher and get it back to working order.

My dishwasher keeps beeping at me and the first four lights on the panel are flashing, I have a Baumatic BW07.

I tilted mine backwards with it running and beeping and it stopped beeping shortly...It made a mess on the floor of course but I put it down and lights were still flashing but no more beeping. Thought I would try tipping it forward while it was running and the lights went off and the beeping never started again. Its working fine now??

Does this when it can't drain properly - check there's no debris in the collecting basket.

Beeping dishwasher

I've not changed a control unit before, so I don't know how easy it is. I would suggest you get a fixed price engineer to come out and tell him in advance what the problem seems to be. Or call a Baumatic engineer and have the control unit sent by the spares department to your address in advance of the engineer's call out. Otherwise it will become around a month long wait and will require 2 visits. If you already have the part - then pehaps the repair won't be stretched over 2 visits?
