Airconditioner LG LSk181-N2 shutting off

On cool mode the aircon switches to what seems like fan then turns off after a few minutes. the outdoor fan speed is slow.

I got a repairer in and LG split systems have not been handling the 40-45 degree heat in Adelaide a few weeks ago. It was the capacitor that was gone. Same problem he said for 95% of his LG split system call outs!

Sounds like your aircon is stuck on heating mode. Or. The outdoor fan speed is affected by ambient temperature, or low refrigerant. In heating mode the indoor fan will come on for a while to sense temperature and will then wait for the outdoor unit to pump up pressure and build up heat.

Lights flashing on the inside unit Futitsu Split System during operation. What do they mean?

Called Flash Codes. First try turning off everything at the breaker for at least 2 hours and preferably overnight. Turn back on and wait 15 minutes for self test to complete.

My air conditioner stops cooling. Occasionally, it will just function on fan mode even though I confirm that it is on cool mode. Warm air comes out even on the absolute coldest setting. I have to turn it...

If after reset the A/C cools then the fault seems related to the thermostat or the cut off pressure switch or load cut off.
However is there is no cooling at all the compressor and the gas pressure- check for leak if gas is absent.- must be checked .
If compressor is suspect you must check the estimate and decide whether it seems better to scrap and buy a new one.

LG 8008R compressor runs one minute then fan blows 3 minutes

You need to have an AC tech come out and do some preliminary testing on this.

Split unit, I get heat but no cold

I have run into this with the LG brand systems. try shutting power off to the outdoor unit to reset all units. If problem persists, it could have to do with a charge level of refrigerant (freon) or possibly a failed control board.

MY AIRCON OUTDOOR MODE IS ON...AND ITS NOT COOLING

Apparently the outdoor fan is on.
Verify that the compressor is on.
Could be a bad capacitor or a bad compressor or justb a bad wire.
Check the refrigerant charge.
Low refrigerant= no cooling.
If the compressor is running refrigerant pressure on the low side (suction side)should be at least 68 pounds of pressure.
