How do I do a hard reset on a Samsung SCH-A930 cell phone? The phone is continually power cycling, and I can't get to the main menu.

Hard Reset Procedure

Press and hold the optical mouse
Press use the stylus to press the reset button
Release both to be prompted if you want to reset the phone.

Apparantly,Samsung SCH-a930 does not have a sim card slot. It comes under CDMA technology. If you need to transfer your Sim or number then contact the Service provider.

Hi,

To Reset the SCH-A930 Handset, to Factory Default Settings, follow the steps below:

While in standby mode, press the OK button for Menu
Select Settings & Tools, using the navigation keys
Select Phone Settings (5)
Select Security (5)
Enter the lock code, the default password is the last 4 digits of cell phone number, unless it has been changed
Select Reset Phone (4)
Select Yes, using the navigation keys
Press the OK button to confirm resetting the SCH-A930 handset to factory default settings

Problems with my computer seeing my phone...

This is an old post, but the problem could be that the connection is not set to USB in Menu/Settings & Tools/Phone Settings/PC Connection. This can be set to either USB or Bluetooth depending on how you are connecting to the computer.
