Free anti virus software

This is a very good antivirus software called AVG

Any decent anti-virus program will be continually updated to keep up with virus developments. Which one you go for is mostly a matter of preference. If you're looking for free software, I highly recommend AVG free, which is, in my experience, one of the best freeware anti-virus suites.

If you're looking to buy some software, then Bit Defender and Kaspersky are two of the highest rated antivirus suites of 2011. This site here has some good comparisons and a little buyers' guide to help you choose the best software for your needs.

There are a few companies offering free anti Virus software. You could try AVG-Free which is a well known Anti-Virus software, just go to http://free.avg.com/us-en/download-free-antivirus hope this helps, best of luck.

In my opinion, A good anti-virus is AVAST. A good spyware program is Spybot. Malware I recommend Malwarebytes.
1. Scan your computer with Spybot then restart,
2. Now scan your computer with Malwarebytes
and delete whatever comes up. restart
3. Now try scanning your computer with the anti-virus protection.
Hopefully this would of remove some of the viruses and spyware.

Download Spybot Search & Destroy. Restart computer, then run Spybot to see what spyware comes up, AND DELET IT.

FYI---Virus Protection-- 2 programs of virus protection will conflict with each other and will actually cancel out the protection. SO just download one.

Running Spybot Search & Destroy with EITHER Avast or Avg (great Free virus protection programs ) will keep a computer in good working condition. FREE

There are alot of $ anti-virus and Internet security programs out there-ie: Norton, McAfee, Panda, Bitdefender. If you would like to pay $ then get ***Kaspersky***-- 2010 ,
I feel that is the best for your money.

Last Resort, would be a Reformat. Use your recovery Cd's.

Viruses normally corrupt your computer. You probably will need to do a Reformat. Be sure and do a Back-up First., because you will loose everything. Restore will not remove Viruses. Best way would be Reformat.

If you know how to do a back-up, save all your documents, pictures and music. If not take it to a reputable computer shop to take of this. There will be a slight charge, but they will save all your important data.

If you don't know what virus you have, how do you know you have one.

Anti-virus software removes a virus, unless you tell me what virus you have
I can't explain how to remove it manually.

Download two things, they are free,

Avira free anti-virus, this is the second best anti-virus software on the planet, and I am not saying this because a friend told me, this is based on actual testing.

Next, download Malwarebytes, they also have a free version.

Below I will post the links for both, these will take care of anything you have. Unless you only think you have a virus, and it just a windows problem.

if your computer does not have any anti-virus software, or you do not know how to use the anti-virus software that came with your computer, you can get anti-virus software from the University of Maryland. This software is available to University of Maryland College Park students, faculty, and staff for free if you download the software or get the Getting Connected CD from the OIT HelpDesk. There are web pages on-line that will instruct you how to download, install, and update the software so that the software can be kept up-to-date very easily.

It depdends of what trojan virus infected your PC. But you can try free security softwares out there. You can visit www.downloads.com for a free Anti-virus/ anti spyware software. I would recommend AvIra Antivirus and lavasoft Adaware antivirus as thats what im currently using and it is very powerful tool to protect your pc. Well you can always try to search and review what anti-virus you want. After installing the software in your pc pls do an update and scan your pc.

uninstall all thos and only use one program. use kaspersky.

you can download thos as trial versions but within the trial time frame, you can rid your computer of all those pests. hope this helps.
