I have a bfeq50 model freezer it just went out on me after a month how can i fix it

On older freezers/refrigerators the drip pan could easily be removed. On newer models its now part of the base frame and their is no way to remove it. Dam shame if ya ask me since it was recommended noraml to remove and clean drain pan every couple months, but hey ain't modern technology great hehehehe

Whatever is on the shelf (parts that have not sold yet) is your best bet. Someone in the USA has to have em cause it hasnt been that long out of business.

should be a hose going down to drain pan, check it, could be plugged, or compressor on way out an controll not workin prop.

hate to tell you but your compressor is going out on your freezer ,,, i'd look for another freezer.

If the compressor is not running but you do have power to the refrigerator, there may be a problem with one of these:

The compressor,The Thermostat,The overload, relay, or capacitor,The defrost timer,The condenser fan motor.
Try to troubleshoot each of these componet one after the other using eliminating method.
That may solve your problem.

tell her to change the rely on the compressor if there is an appliance parts store tell her to get a three in one reley and follow the instructions that come with it

I have an upright freezer which temp was unstable. The coils were frosted up, and the circulating fan was unable to pull air across the cooling fins.I defrosted the unit, cleaned it up, and turned it back on. Worked fine until it frosted up again. The unit was a no frost model. I had to have it serviced, and one of the defrost sensors was bad. No problems since this was fixed.

that is very possible if the fan and compressor are running. the best thing you can do is call maytag. its only 4 months old and is there problem to fix. Good Luck
