Cracking sound My camera started making a loud cracking sound and I can also feel it right under the silver decorative line. It does it at random but frequent times. Moreso after or during taking a picture. The flash no longer comes on automatically either. I have to press the redeye button at the top every time I take a picture. What could be causing this and how do I fix it? Thanks :)

    ok thank you so much for all your help! :o) I guess I'll have to take it to a repair person. Do you know offhand if this tends to be an expensive repair?

    If this is a new item return it to the seller or contact Customer help at Kodak

    Check out the Kodak Website customer support.
    Depending on the age of the camera, Kodak will either exchange it for another or offer a good discount on a new one.
    A repair is not an option with this type of thing.

A cracking or popping noise is frequently an indication of an air/fuel mixture that is too lean (too much air). Have a mechanic or mechanically inclined friend check the various vacuum lines on your engine. Sounds like a cracked or broken vacuum hose on the intake side of the engine. Good luck.

My mackie thump amp will start to have a loud cracking sound. The cracking goes away if I have the input line unplugged from the speaker but with it plugged in it has the cracking sound and it does not...
Crackling is usally one or two things my guess would be bad grounding of the amp or bad connection with the jacks or plug it self try to make it crackle on purpose by jiggling the jacks see if it has any effect on the crackling try to narrow your possibilitys

Loud rumble sound, Vent hose vibration
That model of neptune dryer had a problem with the blower housings cracking. When the housing cracks, it binds forward into the blower wheel making a loud "rumble" noise and vibration. If you open the door and manually turn the drum and you hear a rubbing noise and feel alot of resistance, then you have a cracked blower housing and need to replace it. It is not an easy job to replace, so if your not familiar with dryers, you should have a technician replace it. Let me know if you have any further questions. shane

It seems you have loose or cold solder joint connection problem,causing a cracking sound.The solution is to reworks or resolder the solder joint connection in power supply section, audio section and inverter section...

BELLING 552 ENFIELD/S front panel with gas on/off buttons on it, the silver paint under the lacquer is cracking
having reported this problem to comet the cracking of paint got worse and started to crack also on the grill door,

comet replaced the parts, after about 10 hours use on one gas ring and a small amount of use in the grill the same problem started again.

kodak horizontal blue lines / areas I'd want to buy a 2nd hand kodak c743 camera and I tested it. During the live view, when I hear the AF mechanism, the video is full of horizontal light blue/violet stripes, not only lines, but horizontal blue areas that divided it. When the focus is set these stripes disappear and images are taken without errors. I'd want to know if it's normal or not beacuse it'd be my first camera and I know nothing about them :) Thanks
