SOURCE: I can't seem to get my cyberacoustics to work (Speakers)
Hi, Perhaps the beeping sound you hear at start up is the internal speaker directly connected to the motherboard. If you Device Manager or your Control Panel/Sound & Audio Devices Properties/Audio tells you that nu such device is installed, what you need to do is re-install the necessary drivers. To confirm if the sound card is there/working but need drivers, go to your Device Manager, a yellow marked "!" will indicate that that component need drivers/re-installing. Post back with your motherboard brand/model that we may look for drivers or use the original motherboard CD installers. Good luck and kind regards.

SOURCE: My CA-3550 speakers no longer produce sound - but
I had the same ones their junk... They don't hace magnetic protection and it says not to put them next to moinitors and other magnetic equpment. The only reason the head phones work is because the cables that send audio signals are still working, It is because the mini sound amps within the speakers have some how distroyed them selves. Its not great and theirs not much you can do acept take it appart and look for either: ( broken/or unsodered wires, or a broken circut). I hope this helps,
TJ

1. Verify that the speakers are plugged into the correct jack on the soundcard.
2. Check volume on both the speakers as well as Volume properties on the computer. You may have mute checked or the volume turned down.
If neither of the above correct the problem, you may have an issue with your soundcard. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver. If all else fails, you may have a faulty soundcard.
