Question about Bosch CST Berger MagnaTrak 200 Series Magnetic Locator - No. 19-200SC

I have a CST/berger Magna-Trak 202 magnetic locator that just stopped working.

The on/off switch does not turn the unit on. Tried new batteries.

Likely the on/off button is no longer at the right position to make contact with the tab. Take it apart, and you may need to glue a little piece of plastic to the button.

How to remove sensor from magna trac 102
The only way to remove the sensor tube, is to pull on the ribbon cable until it comes out of the metal tube. It wrecks the sensor tube. Only do it, if you have a new sensor tube to put back in.

Precor efx 5.17 which intermittantly stops counting strides and freezes the display
please follow this steps:
Step 1

Remove the bolts or screws securing the console to the upright assembly. Lift the console and confirm that the cable connections are secure. Remove the cover from the console's battery bay and install a fresh set of batteries. Replace the battery cover.
Step 2

Detach the ends of the pedals from the crank axles. Remove the left and right disc shields and side shields. Inspect the interior of the base unit and locate the flywheel.
Step 3

Inspect the flywheel as it turns. Locate the magnet installed on the flywheel. Turn the flywheel until the magnet passes in front of the nearby reed switch. Loosen the screw securing the switch in place. Rotate the switch to reduce the gap between it and the magnet. Tighten the screw.

I need a manual. Power will not come on. Changed batteries. No power. Also, where does the red attachment that tells you to go up or down hook on? I have power to the unit which hooks to the pole.

Type lm30 into the text box which says "trade name/tool number" and click "start search"
Click on the thumbnail then to download the pdf.
Check for corrosion on the battery terminals and those in the laser.
From what I can see in the manual, there should be a clamp for the laser receiver that lets you clamp it to a staff.
The target plate (part 24 in the manual) has a reflective coating and there should be a magnetic holder for it.

My laser turns levels tries to spin but wont. I am told its the motor. can l buy a motor ?

Green light turns on momentarily, then nothing from unit

On My CST berger 32X automatic level unable to hold vial bubble center as instrument is rotated 180 degrees - instructions say to use vial adjustment screws to correct this problem...this does not seem to...
take a topedo level and get the tripod base as level as possible. attach your level to the tripod. put all screws in the middle and level it. turn 180 degrees, level it. turn 180 and check. if withing the bubble, turn 90 degrees and level. turn 180 and so on and so forth. the adjustments should be slight from turn to turn. make sure the feet are secured firmly in the ground. If this does not level the automatic level, it needs sent in for calibration. I dont know the web address but I hope this helps
