If your cd player is a DEH-P4600MP (mp3 player)then you have to turn off the player first, then press the button on the upper right hand corner of the faceplate and then scroll through the menu and find aux to turn it off or on with the "wheel" on the right on the faceplate. You will also find the alarm and clock settings there in the menu as well but the key is to make sure the player is off first while doing this or you can't access the menu. To use the auxillary input on the back of the unit you need to purchase (eBay has them) an aux input adapter ref CD-RB10 cable. Hope this helps.

Hi, Your car stereo DEH P4600 is a CD player only with amps, no aux, even FM is optional. If your plan is to hook up an MP3 player or an Apple iPod, then you may want to view other posts of other brands/model with same issues. http://www.fixya.com/ThreadView.aspx?prdid=236224&thid=162662 http://www.fixya.com/support/t162829-help Hope this be of some help to you and give you ideas. Pls post again how things turn up or if you need further information. Good luck and kind regards.

No audio to amp

make sure the rca jacks are connected to the input on the amp, and connected to the output on your indash, if still no sound, then your rca jacks might be bad.

Diagram wires on pionner.... some body know what is the wire orange with white on the pionner DEH-P4900ib??

In car audio wiring the orange/white wire is for illumination, connect it to your lighting switch it is to auto dim the display lights when you turn on your dash lights at night otherwise the pioneer display lights can be annoyingly bright at night. You don't have to hook it up if you don't want to, but don't forget to terminte the end of the orange/white wire with a crimp cap or black electric tape wrapped around the end well, I would recommend a crimp cap or similar. Good luck !
