With the plug removed the starter should pull very easily. When trying start did the cutter head try to spin? If yes clutch springs may need replacement

Stihl 025 doesn't have full stroke on pulling the the sarter cord, pulls about a foot then stop after many tries can get the full stroke, runs fine once started

has a knot got in? has it been out more in the past as someone mite of re tried it as for damage just to get going, three turx screws will let you in and have look it is easy, good look

I have a stihl st400 disc cutter & I think the pull start needs cleaning, any advice?

compressed air works well. you really need a gun with a long skinny nozzle. for example

Trying to start a stihl ts 400 disc cutter i pulled the string over and over and nothing .it has oil petrol n everything what can it be?

Try cleaning the plug and spray some starting fluid in the carb.Hope this helps and Thank You for asking!!!

other than wrong fuel mixture what is the cause for the pistons to to be damaged on a ts 410 stihl saw i have worked for months working with a ts410 stihl saw using the correct mixture , and yet the pistons are damaged ?????? is there any other way they can be damaged
