GE 25861GE3 Answering Systems Plays Back Messages in Spanish. How do I change it back to English?
The phone was moved and somehow changed from English to Spanish. The greeting is in English. The playback is in Spanish. (i.e), ("you have 5 messages") ("Mesaage 1, Saturday, 1:00 PM, July 31") The women reciting the details of the message is in Spanish. The acutal message is in English. I would like it all to be in English. How do I fix it?

I hope this helps. Have a great day.
I think I found a solution. On my phone model 27996GE3-A, I unplugged the phone for a few seconds, plugged it back in and waited until the display showed the number of messages and then I pressed the "skip" and "review" buttons at the same time and then it announced the the language changed to english. Hope this helps.
Just as the other answers that were left...you just have to press the skip button. Just make sure that you press announce on the cradle...not on the phone...then when you hear the voice in Spanish just press and HOLD the skip button until it changes to English. Good Luck
