SOURCE: cz 446 comfort zone ceramic heater shuts off

Hi, the problem you are having is the thermostat control, and dimming the lights is a indication of the neutral side of the control if faulty. It is drawing enough amps to make you're home lights blink, so I would stop using it now and if you are inclined to replace this control yourself I would. If this is something you would not care to take on, I would get an estimate for repair at a appliance repair store, compared to replacing the unit with a different one.I am sorry to tell you this, but it will only get worse and what I have recommend is for you're safety.
Sincerely,
Shastalaker7
PS Please keep me informed of the situation, as I would love to be of any help you may need.

I have a comfort zone model CZ2011C. We have no heat all weekend til Monday .will these heaters be safe to run? Help!

The main issue with space heaters is either setting them too close to something flammable or them getting pushed over, They are supposed to have a tip switch in them though. The issue about drawing too much electric current could be a problem. Dont put them on the same circuit. They should not have any other concerns about running.;.

THERE ARE 6 BUTTONS ON THE TOP PANEL ... TWO R USED FOR UP AND DOWN OF TEMP . REST I DONT KNOW. SO NOW THE HEATER RUNS FOR 2 TO 3 MINS AND THEN FAN GETS OFF DISPLAYING FIGURE OF 11 ON DISPLAY.

Power or on/off button to control power.

Now symbols:
1. fan leaves - Fan only
2. Rain drop- Dry mode
3. Snow flake-Cool mode
4. Sun- Heat
5. A or AU- Auto mode.
11 Error code means communication wiring is incorrect. check and rectify in your thermostat.
Thanks.

Which symbol on remote is cooling? I dont have a manual but is on the wall, symbols are a fan on the bottom LH, an a sun on top LH I think? Are you able to help me with modes to select please?

Symbols:
1. fan leaves - Fan only
2. Rain drop- Dry mode
3. Snow flake-Cool mode
4. Sun- Heat
5. A or AU- Auto mode.
L-means fan speed low
M-means fan speed of med H-means fan speed of high.
To get proper cool, mode "cool" and less 3 degree minimum than your room temp.
To get proper Heat mode "Heat" and 3 degree more than room temp. Hope, helpful
