Take the back off the watch then do this
Shortcut battery with AC contact. AC can be found on the sides of watch movement(very tiny). You have to use pointed tweezers: one end on battery+, another on AC contact for three secs

Hi,

The display of your watch may "freeze" due to static electricity or recent battery replacement.

If this occurs, press and hold all four buttons at the same time.

This will erase the data in the memory and allow you to reset the watch to the factory settings.

Press and hold all four side buttons at the same time to reset the watch to the factory settings.

To restore the watch back to it's original condition it will be very expensive, this kind of work is usually done at the factory because it will need extensive parts replacement. My advice would be abandon the idea because of cost, but! if you feel going that route take it back to the store where you purchased it from to see if the work can be done. Some manufactures stop providing parts after a few years making it impossible to remedy the situation.

Set time on 1440 sports

mcdevito 75 here, You should press the MODE button then, see the display blinking, press set for each function after each function is set press MODE to move onto next function, Hour, Minute etc. Once all set press MODE to stop the blinking and restore normal steady dial.

Watch keeps resetting every 2 to 3 weeks I bought this watch in May of last year. For the last 3 months, every 2 to 3 weeks I have to reset the hand home position. Once that is done, I have to then reset the home city and time manually. What causes this? Is this a warranty issue? I don't feel like I should have to completely reset the watch every few weeks. Thanks.
