If I put any wma files on my TGE modle mp 3000, it will shut off as soon as any button is touched. This is not a battery problem. If I put the battery in something else, it works just fine. If I remove all but mp3 files, I have no problems. How do I get the thing to work with wma files.
Well first off I'm sorry you're having such a hard time with you're mp3 player.
I do have a solution for you. You can convert your wma files to mp3. And get this the software for it is free and you can download it right off the internet. It's really easy to use because wma files can be tricky sometimes. They don't always work properly.
Here's the link to the site where you can get it: http://www.wma-mp3.org/
I hope this solves your problem. If it doesn't leave your comments here and I'll see if I can help you further.
Good Luck

I know from reading the user manual that it is meant to play WMA
files but you may have to use the coby media manager to convert the files to mp3 or possibly to wma ( that the player can read )
I have similar problems with mp3 files that do not play in my car mp3 player .
Hi R Shulman Make sure your MP3 files are MP3 files and not WMA or someother type of files because they will not work on your player. Here are your drivers and other associated downloads Bud http://tascam.com/product/mp-gt1/downloads/
Make sure the audio file is supported by the V-Touch. If not use a audio converter (Freemake has a great one for free) to turn it into a .MP3 or .WMA audio file. If not you will have to format the player this deletes ALL data that you have ever put on the player.
This mp3 player is only compatible with mp3 files. If you can play the songs with your media player, chances are that you have the wrong file format for your player. WMA and m4A file formats are not compatible.
To convert your audio files, use the free program found at this location.

Remove the incompatible files from your mp3 player.
Import the mp3 files into your media player, then transfer them to your MP3 player.
Good luck!
Audio Dj is function given by lenovo by which you can listen music without turning on the machine.check that below LCD some multimedia buttons are there simply insert any songs disk(remember that audio cd is only supported format means mp 3 and other formats are not supportable.Only the cd containing wma format usualy having 10 songs is supported) and it will be played without booting.
all the mm buttons given will work with the Audio DJ power button on.
make sure what your putting on is MP3 or unprotected WMA files. If the light is blinking, then it means its playing the song, if you hear nothing, the audio is not in the correct format.
