I can read code plug with KPG-112D but after saving a write attempt results in "The linked network file cannot be opened" error

The error message also states "The trunking zone data is about to be cleared". If you select ok rather than cancel, the file will be void of any P25 trunking data.

SOURCE: Programing KPG-56D

the software is a dos executable. copy it onto your media of choice and paste it into you your other PC. vista will not run this unless you install virtual pc2007 and load win98 in the vista environment. vpc07 is tricky because you have to set up conduits for the virtual com ports that link your physical port. some serial to usb adapters won't function for these. I have had fair luck with kenwood and vertex using this setup.

No file error on PC after downloading readings taken from mitutoyo sj-210 surface tester? It used to come up with all readings taken any ideas?

There could be several reasons why the file error is occurring on the PC after downloading readings taken from the Mitutoyo SJ-210 surface tester. One possible reason could be that the file format of the downloaded readings is not compatible with the software installed on the PC. The Mitutoyo SJ-210 surface tester typically saves data in a proprietary format, which may require specific software to open and read the files. If the software is not installed or is outdated, it may result in a file error.

Another possible reason could be that there is a problem with the USB cable or port used to transfer the data from the surface tester to the PC. A faulty cable or port can cause data corruption during transfer, resulting in file errors when attempting to open or read the files.

It is also possible that there is an issue with the surface tester itself, such as a malfunctioning sensor or memory card. In such cases, it may be necessary to troubleshoot or repair the device before attempting to download any further readings.

To resolve this issue, it is recommended to check if the software used to open and read the files is up-to-date and compatible with the file format used by Mitutoyo SJ-210 surface tester. It is also advisable to use a high-quality USB cable and ensure that both ends are securely connected. If these steps do not resolve the issue, it may be necessary to seek technical support from Mitutoyo or a qualified technician.

What can the problem be if error code 35 comes up on dash

An "Error Code: 35" message might appear while attempting to check for device software updates. ... These errors can be caused by various security software or hardware on a network, including anti-virus applications, proxies, and firewalls.

An "Error Code: 35" message might appear while attempting to check for device software updates. A "Network error (35): An Internet Connection could not be established" message might appear during other operations (such as clicking the Online Account link).

These errors can be caused by various security software or hardware on a network, including anti-virus applications, proxies, and firewalls.
Possible solutions include:
  1. Verify the Network (Proxy) Settings on the IronKey device. In IronKey Control Panel click Settings > Network Settings. Direct Connection and Use System Settings are the most common settings, but some networks (usually in a corporate environment) require the usage of an automatic configuration script or manual settings.
  2. White-list " *.ironkey.com " in your security software or hardware. Each product follows different steps to accomplish this task, so read the security product's user guide or contact their technical support for assistance with white-listing URLs.

When I attempt to open a word document, I get a error message

You made a backup? If yes, then:
Start MSWord.
Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Open.
Locate the folder in which you last saved the missing file.
In the Files of type list, click All Files. The backup file usually has the name "Backup of" followed by the name of the missing file.
Click the backup file, and then click Open.

Otherwise it is necessary to try only this way:
DOC Repair Kit is a comprehensive Microsoft Word DOC repair tool with immense potential and an interface that makes the entire procedure a snap. Based on a lightning-fast proprietary core, the program knows how to repair Word DOC files in situations when other tools appear completely helpless.

Are Paul Gill and Masonolivia source of Indian spam? Why are their postings below copied from other spam?

When you register or open QuickBooks, you see one of these error messages:
  • Could not initialize license properties. Error 3371: QuickBooks could not load the license data. This may be caused by missing or damaged files.
  • Could not initialize license properties. [Error 3371, Status Code -11118] QuickBooks could not load the license data. This may be caused by missing or damaged files.
  • Could not initialize license properties. [Error: 3371, Status Code -1] QuickBooks could not load the license data. This may be caused by missing or damaged files.
Important: This issue can occur if your product is hosted by Right Networks and you access QuickBooks with WebConnect and then select to open the file without saving. If you use QuickBooks Enterprise and your product is hosted by Right Networks, you must save the file and then import it.

How to fix it:

Before proceeding, ensure that your copy of Microsoft Windows is up to date.
If the latest Windows updates are not installed, the QuickBooks installation can fail or become damaged. To install the latest updates in Windows, click the Windows Start or Logo button, choose All Programs > Windows Update. Once started be sure to install any updates marked critical.
You may need to re-install your software. Have your license number and product number for your version of QuickBooks ready.

Try these steps in the order shown. If the first one fixes the problem, you do not need to do the other steps.

Re-create damaged EntitlementDataStore.ecml

What is wrong with the files?

This error message could be generated by any of the below reasons.

  1. During the transmission of the file it became corrupt or bad
  2. The file was sent inappropriately
  3. The device being opened from is bad or contains errors
  4. The file itself is bad or the program attempting to open the file is bad.
Solution

Network / Modem transmission issues

If you are attempting to open the file from a network / modem it is likely the network either is encountering collisions or other errors during the data transmission. Note: if the file is being sent through a session such as FTP or Telnet it is possible that it may not be sent properly. If the file is a text file, the file must be sent as either ASCII or TEXT mode. If, however, the file is a program or non-text file, it must be sent as a Binary file.

  • Re-send the file.
  • Try Alternate method of sending the file.
  • Verify the file was sent properly (ASCII / TEXT / Binary)
  • Verify with Network Administrator that the network is not experiencing issues.

Removable media issues

If the file is attempting to be opened from a removable media such as a Zip disk / Floppy diskette it is possible data corruption is being encountered on the diskette itself or when coming from the removable media.

  • Try an alternate diskette or media

CD issues

If the file is being opened from a CD-ROM it is possible the CD is dirty or scratched causing read errors. If the CD was burned it is possible that it was burned improperly.

  • Clean the CD-ROM
  • Re-burn the software

File is bad or program attempting to open the file is bad

Finally, if the file is being opened from the hard disk drive or other media, it is likely that the file is corrupted or the program opening the file is corrupted.

  • Download the file again.
  • Reinstall the program being used to open the file
  • Open with a different program
  • If the file is on the hard disk drive, run scandisk / defrag
Assume the file is bad and cannot be recovered

hope this helps

I can't install windows live messenger, it encounter a network error while attempting to read from the file C:\WINDOWS\Installer\Messenger.msi

I found the site below and thought of your situation. Here is the message I received:
-------
"Network error occurred while attempting to read from the file:
C:\\WINDOWS/Installer/Messenger.msi
Please close all other open programs, and then try again. It looks like another program is preventing the installer from working. hr.0x80070643"
-------
If it's the same message, and you haven't found a solution yet, then this will do the trick. Although it's an older post, it works just fine for the current 14.0.8117.416 Messenger update issue:

Scroll about halfway down the page. Look for Microsoft Customer Support (Joan, Technical Support, Live Essentials):
Note: For the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility, I downloaded from this link (you'll want the latest version wherever you get it - 2.5.0.1):

Error code:0 i cant save any work on InDesign

You are either:

1. Using symbols like "/" in the filename
2. Or doing what I was doing which was trying to save the file in an (accidentally) locked folder. To fix this - right click on the folder and get info - open up sharing and permissions and make sure that your username has full read write access. I also clicked on the settings cog button and applied this setting to everything in the contents of the folder. The folder had somehow corrupted during a network transfer and this is what was making inDesign not play ball.
