SOURCE: PLEASE INSERT A DISK INTO DRIVE(H): (pendrive problem)
I had the same issue with my 4GB Sony Memory Card when I put it in my memory card slot on my computer. I have a Toshiba laptop, so what I did that fixed the problem is I went to Toshibas Support Webpage in the downloads section and under the CATEGORY: Driver Card Reader and re-downloaded: Ricoh Card Reader for Windows 7 (32/64)(v3.54.02; 09-04-2009; 4.94M) and once I did that it read my memory card and didn't give me any more issues and it opened all my pictures. Of course if you don't have a Toshiba then you would go to your manufacturers web site and see if they have the same thing, because that is what fixed my issue and it didn't take long at all.

A hidden application is disrupting your format process download "unlocker" software application from google, install it then right click on the memory card icon you find unlocker option double click n press unlock all after this try formating your memory card will work fine

SOURCE: i cannot access my 2GB
In that case the card is defective and unfixable. Get a new one.
