I bought a new Teac GF-350 and also a Teac tape deck. I am trying to copy some cassettes to CD's. I have CD-R Music discs to use with this machine but when I follow the instructions in the manuel and get to the step to finalize it goes through all of the things it says it will do and when the numbers are finished the music will come on. When I try to play this CD in another CD player it says that it can't read the disc. Any suggestions?
Hi, This is just a guess but it may be worth a try. I have heard that Audio CD-Rs, which are the only media this machine will record onto, are famous for being finicky about being played on different kinds of CD readers. My suggestion is that you "rip" the Audio CD-R's content to your computer (in .wav or .MP3 format) and then make a copy of your album onto a reagular CD-R which is more likely to be played on any CD reader. Not sure if this'll work for you but it's worth a shot. Hope this helps.
