Question about Pacific Image PrimeFilm 1800u Film Scanner (35 mm)
Just purchased this model and downloaded the Adobe Elements 3.0 CD no problem. Then the driver disk . Everything loaded up ok . Scanned a kodak slide 100 asa and the whole slide image came up but looks horrible . Almost like reversed image from a negative to positive view ? Nothing but reds and purples came up on the preview and scanned slide. I tried playing around with every resolution . Tried it as a negative and a positive. Same results. I think the unit isn't compatiable with Windows XP Pro program. The user manual says it works with XP but didn't say anything about XP Pro. Any body have any ideas what's wrong ? Thanks.
If it is loaded and running then that side is OK. It seems to be a firmware breakdown in the scanner. Checkout the makers website
