SOURCE: Samsung LN32B360 32" LCD HDTV (Black) DOES NOT POWER ON

Most likely the TV has a power supply related problem. It's possible that it maybe a bad capacitor or transformer on the power supply board. Or, it maybe something simple like a blown fuse inside the TV. But, I can't say it's 100% the problem because I can't actually look at the tv over the internet. I can only make guesses with the symptoms.

You have a few choices:

1. You can try leaving the TV unplugged for 30 - 45 minutes so the TV can discharge and reset itself.
2. If by chance the TV is still under warranty, go that route.

3. If you have some electronic experience, if you can find and purchase a Service Manual over the internet; It will help you diagnose the source of the problem and fix it by soldering in the new part. The Service Manual will give you circuit diagrams, test points, and part# lists.Usually, cost under $20. And most cases the new part cost less than $15.

4. Pay a TV shop to do the repairs. It maybe costly, but get an estimate of how much they will charge. That way you can decide if it worth repairing or replacing the whole TV.

I hope I shed some light on the subject for you.

SOURCE: Tv wont turn on worked fine last night

If there is no power at all, then the problem is likely the power supply unit.
The PSU must be tested, then eventually replaced.

SOURCE: I have a Sanyo46" LCD

Unplug it for baout an hour to let it reset itself first, if it still does not work, then read on.
The power supply module may have gone out, it can be as simple as blown fuse, or failed DC filter caps. You need to look inside or have it repaired.

Mitsubishi WD-52525 was working fine and now it will not turn on

This is just a shot - but it worked with my Sony (same problem).
Pressed remote power on button AND held Power button on TV on at the same time.

Set clicked 4 or 5 times and then came on....

Other, most have a (VERY small) reset switch on the rear - near where the power cord enters the TV... Use a flashlight and a mirror to locate it on your set....

Power light on, nothing happens

Try holding down the power button for several seconds. This will shut down the PC. You should then be able to reboot the system.

Tv won't turn on

I had a similar problem when there was a power outage or the lights went briefly out. I unplugged the TV and left it for a few days/weeks and then plugged it in and the TV worked. I think newer TVs should be treated like a home computer and put them on surge protectors.

Remote problems and now FPA locked

In the worse case:
It is very possible that the remote recieve on the set has gone defective. It is also possible that there is a fault with the processor in the set, and the remote signals are not being responded to.

As for your universal remote, I don't trust them.

Did you try changing the batteries in the remote? Make sure the new ones are actualy in good condition.
