I had the same problem but i had set in czech or russian or something. I could scroll using the icons til I was on settings. I couldn't read the words but by going 1 by 1, I was able to get to what looked like a list of languages then scrolled until the one that seemed to be english. the hard part was not knowing the language to tell what setting i was on

Select menu, then got to settings, scroll to language, choose english. That should be all there is to it.

HOW DO YOU CHANGE THE LANGUAGE ON SANSA FUZE

I assume your current language setting is 'English,' and you want another language;

1) Press the top menu button, and roll the wheel clockwise or counterclockwise to get to SETTINGS
2)Click RIGHT side of wheel to get to Settings submenu.
3) Roll the wheel to SYSTEM SETTINGS at the bottom of the submenu list.
4) Click RIGHT side of wheel.
5) Roll the wheel to the sixth menu entry, LANGUAGE.
6) Roll the wheel to select from the 31 available languages;
7) Click RIGHT side of wheel to select the language.

What if you clicked the wrong language and are now stuck in Chinese (which you don't read)?

1) Press the top menu button. Rotate wheel to the picture of the 4-level 'Mixer'. This is SETTINGS
2) Click RIGHT.
3) Rotate clockwise to bottom of submenu list.
4) Click RIGHT.
5 Rotate clockwise to the SIXTH entry from the top.
6) Click RIGHT.
7) Rotate COUNTERCLOCKWISE to the top of the list.
8) Click RIGHT.
You should now be in the default English menu.

One other suggestion;
Download the PDF Manual for the SANSA FUZE, here:

Note; It's in English :-)

Sansa clip wrong language

Go to the settings menu, or whatever "settings" is in the language you've got it in and keep opening different stuff in the settings menu until you find the list of languages. Go through the list until you find "English." It might be spelled slightly differently in the language that it's in right now, but you'll be able to tell which one it is. Select it and the language should go to English.

Can't change language

If you have the Sansa Clip 2GB, click the small button in the right-upper corner (with the small little house-icon above it) on the front of your sansa so you get to "Music", then press the play/pause button once to get to "Settings", use the button over(play/pause) and under the round middle-button to go up or down in Settings. There you can find Language, click on the forward-button once to see which language choices you have(go up/down in the list same way as in Settings). Choose language by pressing the forward button when you've selected language. This should bring you back to "Language" (now it should be in the language you chose) Hope this helps!

Hebrew language

The Sansa Clip - US Version is the only one of the Sansa players not to have a firmware upgrade that adds correctsupport for Hebrew. I hope your player is Israeli. If it is:
Menu --> Settings --> Language --> Hebrew
(p. 19 of your user manual)

On the Clip, they had no right-to-left vs. left-to-right swapping functionality even with the firmware upgrade, I believe.
