Water isn't pumping into my washing machine

Check that you have sufficient water pressure from the tap, remove the water pipe to the tap, hold a bucket under the tap and check the water pressure.
At the inlet where the machine meets the water supply pipe may be a small filter siev. Check and clean and try again.

Homemaker how do you remove the sieve in a homemaker juicer

The phloem consists of sieve elements, companion cells, phloem parenchyma cells and phloem fibers. Other cell types may be found in the phloem of certain plant species. The functional units for long distance translocation and signal distribution are sieve tubes. Sieve tubes consist of sieve elements which are elongated cells, connected to each other via sieve plates to form a continous tube system that spreads out through the entire plant. Sieve plates are end walls containing large pores to provide a connection between adjacent sieve elements (for more information on sieve plates see link on the left). In order to generate a tube system of low resistance, sieve elements loose most of their cellular components such as nucleus, cytoskeleton, ribosomes, tonoplast etc. during ontogeny. Mature sieve elements contain structural phloem specific proteins (P-proteins), mitochondria, ER, and sieve elements plastids. Other cellular structures of yet unknown function have recently been described (Froelich et al. 2011 ). Companinon cells derive from the same mother cell and remain in close connection with their sieve element. Since the sieve elements are incapable of self supported survival due to the lack of a nucleous and other organells, companion cells support their sieve element throughout its lifetime. Companion cells are characterized by a dense cytoplasm and a high number of mitochondria.

I have an Hayward Pro Series S244T filter and I have had problems with sand blowing back into pool - the filter is only 2 years old

When sand returns to the pool, there is a hole in either the media or the sieve that is supposed to keep the sand in the filter.
All of the sand must come out of the filter, the sieve at the bottom (outlet of the filter) must be removed and any broken segments must be replaced.
The sand is then returned.

My Kärcher K2.080 pressure cleaner (1450psi /

According to my search, Karcher has a 2 year warranty on this product. If you can get the serial number and model number off of it. They should be able to identify when it was made and then can honor that warranty. Otherwise the pump seals appear to be damaged by your description of the problem. Hope I've helped.
Best, Mark

Cold water isn't coming on inside washing machine, but cold water supply (hose and faucet) check out fine

Two things will cause that problem. 1) Switch water off and remove pipe off of the machine side. You will see the inlet to the water valve. Normally the small sieve in the oriface is blocked. You need to pull sieve out with long nosed pliers.once out, blow sieve and clean. If it is clean, then 2) Cold water valve needs to be stripped and serviced. There will be dirt build up in there. Clean it out then replace and test.

No cold water fill on my lg wf-t1031tp

If you sure water pressure is good, you will almost certainly have an issue with a stuck inlet valve or simply the sieve fitting into the back of the valve is dirty. (most LG valves can be stripped and cleaned if sieve is not the issue.) If not, replace. Also, you could check if there is power on the valve or not. What reading do you get on the coil of the valve. Should be approx. 3 k ohm.
