You may need to re-calibrate your Rocky. A good way to deal with clumps is to use the Weiss Distribution Technique (WDT).

Hi There could be a piece broken around the chute where it comes out of the grinder and enters the grounds chamber. There is a rectangular opening in the plastic that can get broken causing the grounds to enter the machine.

no, dont worry. Just return the lever by hand. Replace the spring and it will break again. It is a hassle to replace and not having it will not affect the function

to get starting point you adjust burrs to touch each other. when they touch each other you have finest grinding, after you hear metal voice you turn back 3 dots and grind only for 1 dose. you check it, if it goes to slow, you go one more back and clean gruinder, THAN you grind 1 dose more. 2 or 3 times and you will get perfect grinding.

1. because it didn't work a wilde the upper burr holder could be jammed, carefully take id off, clean it good and then put it back until you touch lower burr with the upper.
2. to get starting point you adjust burrs to touch each other. when they touch each other you have finest grinding, after you hear metal voice you turn back 3 dots and grind only for 1 dose. you check it, if it goes to slow, you go one more back and clean grinder, THAN you grind 1 dose more. 2 or 3 times and you will get perfect grinding.
   

1. replacement of burrs after 500 kg grinded coffe
2. if upper burr holder and the body of grinder does not hold stabile, teflon aplying does not help too much, it is only temporary solution. new upper bur holder would do better.
3. before inserting upper burr holder you should check if lower burr is rotating syncronized, you should take a bit chalk and sof touch while burr rotates. after that you stop grinder and look do you have circle with same thiknes, that would give you idea where is the problem, if it is in lower burr.
