Wallmart has a great creative sound card for 30.00 dollars and comes with disk so you want have this problem again

Unzip the file before installation.
Or you can buy a sound card for the pci socket
that does not cost much.
Make sure the driver cd is following the card
and it is compatible with your operating system.

Try the AC'97 Audio drivers from the Realtek website :)

Go to the motherboard's maker's site and download all information needed.

You must have the drivers for that mother board, and get them usually from the one who made it.
