I have a Hitachi 50 inch Rear projection T.V. When the T.V. is moved the color goes to black and white then it will sometime come back when it is pushed or nudged. What could it be?
Which sounds like a loose connection in the video or chroma section. you can carefully tap around affected area with a rubber screwdriver handle(not metal part) and see if it does come and go and look in that area for loose connections that needs soldering back. Hope this helps

The best setting are the ones you prefer the most.In general most sets are optimized for 50% on color and tint and usually 70% or more for bright and contrast.
HELLO. it sound's like you have a cold solder problem.!!! what that mean's is that when the set get hot .!!! it lose's it's contack.!!! you might try going over the chassis .!!! soldering the conteck's.!!! with a low watt. solder gun.!!! not over 40 watt's.!!! and use 40/60 rosin core solder.!!! hope this help's you .!!! "GOOD LUCK"
use the advanced options page and reset the factor blue and red convergence defaults then do re apply the auto color defaults color at first it seemed very red (which is good because red was the missing factor in the green picture) but after reseting all the color and tints to the normal ranges I then reset the color auto correct again and all seems fine.
does the tv use Svideo as an input from whatever device you're using on the main screen?
if so , try changing out the cable for a new one, svideo carries 2 signals, color and brightness (ie color and black signals)
if your cable is bad or broken, you may only be getting one of those signals ( the black one)
try a new cable if it's s-video.
if it's not, get back to us.
