Remote Weather Station shows "HHH"

Hi I finally got around to installing the remote weather station that came with the radio. I live in Canada where it is know to get below freezing in the winter, and therefore I used the wire sensor outside and left the remote unit in the house. I used an existing thought the wall hole ? to the door bell ? and mounted the the remote beside the door on the inside wall. I then placed the sensor within the door bell button housing. The door bell still works. The unit was working fine until I did this. It has been displaying the HHH symbol were the temperature would be. What is the HHH symbol indicate? ? as I bought this at Christmas for my wife, I have misplaced the owners manual. Could the trouble be electrical interference from the doorbell wires? Any suggestions or solutions are welcomed.

This means that the read is over the HIGH limit of the sensor, perhaps is too hot there. Change it to another location. josemaX

Why can't I receive input from the outside sending unit?

Make sure that all the batteries are good!!
This procedure outlines the typical process to pair the sensor and base.
Base Station Battery Installation

·Remove the printed vinyl label from the LCD screen of the base station
·Position the remote sensor near the base station
·Open the battery compartment at the back of the base station and insert (2) AA batteries according to the polarity markings. Replace the battery compartment cover.
·Within a short time the RF signal icon (located to the left of the outdoor temperature channel indicator) will start flashing. This indicates that the base station is ready to pick up the RF outdoor temperature signal from the remote sensor. It will continue to flash for 3 minutes or until the signal from the remote sensor is detected.

Register the Remote Sensor
·Open the battery compartment at the back of the remote sensor and slide the channel selector switch to your desired channel. For the first remote you may select any channel, for additional remotes select any unused channel
·Insert (2) AAA batteries according to the polarity markings. Be sure to install the batteries in the remote within the time that the RF signal icon is flashing on the base station. 1541 WeatherGuide Wireless Weather Forecaster with Barometer

Display station not showing outside temperature

Check battery status indicator on main weather station of remote unit. If no indication, replace battery in remote unit. If battery is good then check "channel setting" of remote unit to make sure the channel setting on remote unit matches the "channel" setting on main unit. many weather stations will take up to 3 or 4 remote units and they must use different channels to relay the remote imfo to the main weather station unit.

Next tech weather station is. Not w

Try taking the inside unit outside as close to the transmitting unit as possible for three minutes. The signal might lock on to the setting you want to receive.

Reset oregon scientific weather station

Hi,
I always have trouble getting mine to work after changing the batteries, but I have just managed to get it going by doing the following:
taking batteries out of main unit
putting new battery in remote unit and pressing remote unit reset button
re-inserting batteries in main unit and pressing reset button.

i think the trick is to ensure that the batteries go in the remote unit first, then the main unit after that. It has taken me days to work this out!

Weather Station's remote reading for humidity is inaccurate.

Weather .com is usually pretty accurate. You could always go get yoursel a barometer and you would always know the truth. Take care..
