SOURCE: Le error code on my LG washer.

On LG Washers the code LE is for motor overload protection.
Ensure that you are not overloading washer, make sure to clean pump by draining at little door at lower left corner(check manual for instructions), unplug for 30 minutes to reset, now try running cycle again. if it fails again something else is causing the motor to work to hard and will require a professional.

SOURCE: LG Tromm washer WM2077CW reading code LE

LE means "Overload in Motor" Unplug the washer, remove clothes, wait 15 minutes for motor to cool down. try again. If problem persists you'll need a certified technician.

SOURCE: "UE" error code LG washer wm0642hw

This is an Imbalance code. Your issue may be with:

  • The load is too small
  • The appliance is tilted
  • Laundry is gathered to one side
  • Non-distributed things are put into the drum
Try adjusting the load size, and make sure the unit is level.

Front load washer LG wm2140cw with error code up side down FE. Any ideas what this means? Will start to run then error code shows up and it stops.

A tE error code on the display of the washer indicates a heating error, usually caused by a faulty thermistor.
  1. Unplug the washer from the power outlet for 10 seconds.
  2. Plug the washer back in and press the POWER button and then the SPIN SPEED button until No Spin is selected. Press the START/PAUSE button.
  3. Once the washer has drained, restart the wash cycle.
  4. If the tE error code appears again, close the water taps and unplug the washer. The washer will require repair service.

How to locate a ball sensor in my lg washer

The Ball Sensor has nothing to do with a "LE" error.
A faulty Hall Effect Sensor or faulty Stator or faulty Main PCB are
suspects..You must remove the Rotor and then the Stator to get to
the Hall Sensor..

I have a LG WM1814CW washer that has started giving me the UE error code. No matter what I do it does not solve the problem. I have even run the machine empty and the problem still comes up. It usually...

You may have a problem with the ball sensor. Look in the back of the washer. On the right side as you're looking at the rear, does the frame look slightly dented in?? If so, you will need to pound out the metal. The reason is that the ball sensor is located on the lower right side of the back panel and if it is pushed in enough, the spinning movement from the tub will knock the ball sensor causing the control board to display UE error code. Good luck

LG inverter Direct Drive 7kg WD11020D - what is "ue"?

UE is the error the washer will display if it detects an unbalanced load. If your LG washer was a model that contained the Ball sensor, it could be a bad part.

My lg washer will not go into spin cycle.

I had the same problem. I found a water leak on the water valves at the back on the unit. This leak dripped on a wire that lead back to the ball sensor. The water was causing the computer to interpret a "unbalanced error". I suggest that the valves have a design defect that caused them to start leaking. After I discovered that my local appliance parts stores is NOT allowed to carry LG parts. I was very upset. I removed the ALL of the valves, cleaned them and applied a thin coating of silicon around the plastic solenoid shell, reassembled and I have no more leaks. I also cleaned the "ball" sensor to get rid on any moisture. Afterwards my wife was able to do 8 loads and me twice.
