RM24912 problems I have a new GE universal remote model RM24912 I have it programmed to my TV but when I try to enter a number it goes to a different number (I press 2 and channel 3 comes up, I press 11 and channel 24 comes up etc) How can this be fixed?

I have a 32'' Westinghouse LTV and when I program it, it works for a few times and then no more. Re-programed it several times , same thing happens.

TRIED TO FIND CODE VIA SEARCH WITHOUT SUCCESS. NEED TO GET TV TO CHAN 3 FOR CABLE DVD

You can go to www.jascoproducts.com and go to their Support tab to locate a list of the codes for their universal remotes. If you cannot find the right code for your device, you can also do the code search instructions: Manually turn on your TV Press the SETUP/CODE SEARCH button on the remote until the indicator light stays lit and then release Press the TV button Point the remote at your TV and press the ON/OFF button until the TV turns off. Give the remote time between presses to see if that code is the right one. This method searches through all of the codes that are preprogrammed in the remote. There are 250-300 codes in each remote. If you cannot find the right code for your TV using this method, there isn't a code in this remote for your TV.

I think this is cause u didn't programmed it well ... try to program it agian with the right code for your TV and if u didn't find the right code .. i will get it for u please rate me if this help u ...

I need to enter a code to program my remote but I lost the paper that tells you the codes. I am using a GE Universal Remote Control.

GE unversal remote code lists are available from Jasco. See http://www.jascoproducts.com/support/universal-remote-codes.asp for all the manuals and code lists.

The RM24912 uses 4 digit codes so the appropriate code list is: http://www.jascoproducts.com/support/download-files/RemoteCode-4-digit.pdf .

Need ge universal tv codes

you can set up any like this
1. turn on what ever you want set up
2. press and hold set up tell light blinks or stays lit
3. push what you are trying to set up t.v. or dvd ect.
4. push power on/off tell it turns off
5. push enter when it turns off
