SOURCE: WhOW TO REPLACE THE EXPOUSER LAMP IN MINOLTA COPIER EP 2030
It's not very difficult. CAUTION: HIGH VOLTAGE TO LAMP! ***BE SURE TO UNPLUG MACHINE BEFORE ATTEMPTING REMOVAL!
1. Remove 2 silver screws on plate that aligns your original -on left side of glass. (note: if ADF on machine, there will be two small springs under this plate, be careful to keep springs when you remove the plate) 2. Carefully remove glass by lifting slightly and sliding to the front. 3. Grasp carriage with lamp and pull to the right.
4. The lamp is held by tension between two silver lamp terminals. You can press (hard) on the rear terminal toward the back of the machine and the lamp will release and drop onto the reflector. Or, if this is difficult, remove the screw(s) on the black plastic housing that holds the silver lamp terminals. Once loose,
slide the lamp to the rear until you can lift the front up and out.
5. To replace the lamp, USE CAUTION NOT TO TOUCH THE NEW LAMP WITH YOUR BARE HANDS! The oils from your hand can cause problems later. Use rubber gloves or wrap a paper towel around the lamp when handling. Slide the lamp all the way into the rear hole until you can get the front of the lamp into it's hole. Then, maneuver the lamp onto the front terminal
while pressing the rear terminal until it's wide enough to accept the lamp. (or, if you removed the black housing, catch the lamp socket with the terminal then pull the housing toward you until it seats into position where you can reinstall the screws). 6. Replace the glass being careful to get the right side under the two metal spring clips. 7. Reinstall the original stop plate located left of the glass with the two silver screws (and the springs if ADF is attached). 8. Plug it back in, turn it on and away you go.

how the code appeared?
I suppose you worked with the cyan low toner attention untill the machine stopped. in this case you should make an ATDC sensor adjustement! but firstly you should reset the error!
SOURCE: Minolta copier EP 2030 error code C 04
No, in stand-by the exposure lamp should not switch on. What comes on in regular intervals is the heating lamp inside the fusing roler which can be seen from the exit side of the copies. The exposure lamp is under the glass and only comes on and print button is pressed and copy process begins.
GOOD LUCK.

C000 is a main motor lock code. A developer change may help. It may be two seperate problems too. The fuser unit has some drive gears that tend to break and lock the machine. This is an old analog machine, you REALLY don't need to spend much money on this one.
